Dr. Karisa Castner, Associate Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Karisa recently graduated with honors as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences here in St. Pete! Originally from Michigan, Dr. Karisa transferred from Michigan State University to Florida Gulf Coast University where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biology. Her passion for prenatal and pediatric care has been a theme throughout her life, from volunteering at the mother/baby unit in high school to her undergraduate research project looking at the effects of harmful chemicals in manufactured baby food.

During chiropractic school, she recognized how life altering chiropractic care is for improving labor and delivery. She hopes to help women have the happiest, healthiest experience both during pregnancy and throughout their postpartum journey so that mom and baby can thrive.

Dr. Karisa is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) with Webster Technique Certification.

She is an expectant mother herself and loves living in the Tampa Bay area with her husband. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, spending her free time at the beach, checking out new restaurants and local shops, and traveling.
